Made in 1966, this Pollmann bass is a comfortable 3/4 gamba-cornered double bass with external linings and ornamental carving around the body. The neck appears to have been changed along with many other careful repairs over the years. Having been in New York for many years, owned by Charnette Moffett, this bass has found its way to the west coast and is now available at Lemur Music. Comfortable mensure, robust tone.
